I started this channel to document the things I make around the house and in the shop. I sell some products on my Etsy shop but mostly this is just my hobby. I live in Nashville with my amazing wife and wonderful daughter. We are regularly coming up with new projects and I will try to video the build process to post here. I hope you enjoy watching these videos!

Toilet Running? Try this before calling a Plumber!
Переглядів 7055 днів тому
This old toilet was running for about 10 seconds every 30 minutes or so. After looking in the tank it was clear that the seal was failing. Since it's an older toilet I decided to replace the entire flush valve which is actually very easy with some simple tools! I hope this video is helpful and saves you a call to the plumber. Leave it to commenter's to think they know better than the professional
But youre over spraying everything around the door
What is the name of the product thank you
Did you spray that gel on everything behind the door you were hitting too?
No that got painted later and the stuff that didn’t was covered
And I was worried it would not give a good edge. Up close in person it might not be 100% perfect, but it’s good enough and way faster.
wow
Well done.
Boss !!! Great to know! French Doors are on my Paint List
If you’re a Mexican it’s perfectly fine to paint over hinges
Put the hinge on the wrong way 😅
Why didn't you spray the titles with water so dust doesn't happen?
Just being lazy basically
Holy overspray!
Why does your voice sound like its been abu$3d by a gang of massive black kcoks?
Congratulations !!! Now, you need to upgrade the baseboard on that whole level of the house 😂😂😂 you are a genius.
Yes. We’re in the process of replacing all of the baseboards which is what led to this project on the first place. I’m basically Einstein.
Painted higher are tacky lazy ugly
Old painted hinges are disgusting and changing them is a bit of a pain so it’s kind of a tough situation
Now that bit of beading looks off
That 1/4 round would drive me nuts. I would just put some caulking to fill any gap
Not even hung right to start off lol
Smart
It would have been wise to have hung a large piece of newspaper behind the top of the door for the over spray to have landed onto, instead of hitting on whatever is behind the door.
Good idea but it’s more small room 🤷🏻♂️ need more that little large to get better for space room 🤷🏻♂️ but I know he is one choice himself and it’s look great job 👏🏼❤😊
Wonderful!
Im using this again for the 2nd time Thx again!!
Awesome!!
Why is everyone using the storyline method? Is it increasing your viewership?
Lots of rude comments here. After reading I put together its intended purpose. If you’re happy with it and it did a good job, then I’m all about it.
Welcome to the decorators forum...
👁 👃🏻 👁
If that is what people have to worry about in their lives- I’m jealous. . . Really??!?! A two inch wooden base board bothers you that much that ya’ll feel the need to fix it???? WOW
American doors disgust me 🤮
Most older homes didn't use decorative hinges. So over time the hinges would get surface rust. That's probably why they were painted.
Come rookie cut the caulking with a knife first prevent peeling.
These UA-cam professionals piss me off
Let’s hope you pay for your own paint with all extra. Most would just roll and brush it on to save money on paint
Ok so you have to mask the wood frame to “no to paint it” with the masking paint ? 😂😂😂😂
You still have to cut in the liquid tape though!😂
Thinking out loud here. Is it just the me or is every other short about the youtuber responding to something the audience commented. Either clarifying, apologizing or redoing the whole video. I haven't used the UA-cam app in a while but this pattern stuck out to me today.
You got tails tho. Your setup isn’t quite right
Can you share the brand and color of your tile
Sometimes its just the small things. Nicely done.🎉🎉🎉🎉
What filler/putty was that or what did you use to fill the creases?
They were white hinges to begin with I think
Kool to small
I'm fairly new into wood working, making everything from a to z and have made a few hand carved wavy flags and they all turned out amazing and sold one but Im quickly learning this is just like our lawn care/landscaping industry....its a race to the bottom! The 3 flags Ive made, I bet I have 5-7'ish hours into making each 13x24" flag, hand carving everything including the stars and asking 350.00 and it blows most people away. Unfortunately for me it's what I like doing the most.
don't you have to 'cut in' the liquid masking? may as well tape it.
Didn't even took the doorknob off.
WOW😍 Great job 👏
Great work there. 🦾
Terrible
If you just flip that you don't have to drill another hole
